Heat pump grant leads and the Boiler Upgrade Scheme
Most of the homeowners in our grant-route campaigns are applying through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme. As at 16 September 2026 the scheme pays £7,500 towards an air source heat pump, £7,500 towards a ground source heat pump and £5,000 towards a biomass boiler. Properties heated by oil or LPG with no mains gas connection can claim a further £1,500 towards an air or ground source heat pump, available until March 2027.
The grant goes to the installer, not the homeowner, so you need to be MCS certified to redeem it. We run grant-route and able-to-pay campaigns separately and weight your delivery towards whichever suits your order book.

What air source heat pump leads cost in the UK
Lead Pronto's air source heat pump leads start from £15 per lead. What you actually pay depends on three things: how many leads a month you want, how tight the postcode area is, and whether you want grant-route enquiries, able-to-pay enquiries or a mix.
Most UK lead suppliers do not publish a price at all, so an installer comparing options is usually quoted per enquiry rather than shown a rate card. Lead Pronto publishes its from-price because the number does not change depending on who is asking.

Do I need to be MCS certified to buy heat pump leads?
Most of our heat pump partners are MCS certified, because most funding routes require it. Tell us about your accreditations on a discovery call and we will set the lead criteria around what you can actually install.
How quickly can I start receiving heat pump leads?

Yes. Current heating fuel is captured on every heat pump enquiry and passed to you with the lead, so you can see whether it is a gas, oil or LPG property before anyone gets in a van. Oil and LPG properties off the mains gas grid also qualify for a larger Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant, which usually makes them the stronger appointment.
Do you check the property has somewhere to put an outdoor unit?
On qualified appointments, yes - outdoor space is one of the criteria we confirm before booking. On standard pay-per-lead campaigns the enquiry is a homeowner request rather than a surveyed property, so outdoor unit space is something your own survey establishes.
Do homeowners expect the grant to cover the whole installation?
Some do, which is why our campaigns state that the Boiler Upgrade Scheme is a contribution and not the full cost. If you are finding a particular campaign brings you homeowners with the wrong expectation, tell your account manager and we change the ad copy rather than leaving you to manage it on the doorstep.
Heat pump surveys mean long drives. What happens when the job is not there?
A rejection policy is included in every campaign and agreed against that campaign's commercials before it goes live. Send the lead back with the reason and we deal with it. We would rather tighten the targeting than have you drive two hours for nothing.
